About Yogada Therapies

A hearty welcome to Yogada therapies, If you have come this far, then you be seeking something new.  Perhaps you’re looking to:

  • Make changes to your current life,

  • Find therapies to heal the part of you that are in pain or suffering on a physical, psychological or emotional level or

  • Unravel the mysteries of life or to manifest your purpose.

It is believed (with increasing scientific backing) that all change including healing first happens etherically - with an idea- before manifesting into reality.  The tools used are grounded in yogic science and related healing modalities that shift energy, providing a platform for healing and inspiring us to live in harmony with our true nature both individually and collectively.

Francois de La Rochefoucauld once said, “The only thing constant in life is change.” This statement is filled with hope because it means we always have opportunities for change, especially through changing habits.

When we really look within ourselves, we often know what we really want or need and we know what is best for us. Sometimes, though, we need a helping hand - someone to guide us, hold a mirror up so we can see more clearly Sometimes we need to accountable so we can apply the consistency and resilience needed to make change.

Whatever your reason for being here you’re in the right place, you just have to start with one thing and other changes will follow.

At Yogada therapies, we provide a holistic approach, whether it is through yoga therapy, consultations, courses or retreats.

Our purpose is to provide you with the techniques and guidance so you can live your best life, consciously, free from fear and full of confidence with peace and joy.

Classes and Workshops are always designed with you in mind, honouring the idea that each person is unique and diverse and yet are aim is oneness.  A blended approach is adopted to suit all style of learning including: one to one sessions, group, face to face and online.

Meet Raj Rajani

Living and breathing yoga

Hello, I’m Raj Rajani, and I’m proud to say that I’ve been on this journey for over half a century! Throughout my life, I’ve embraced many roles and responsibilities, from being a wife, mother, and sister to an animal lover, environmental activist, trustee, accountant, and career businesswoman.

Each of these experiences has enriched my life with a tapestry of emotions—happiness, sadness, love, hate, loss of confidence, depression, anxiety, peace, and joy. It’s enough to fill the pages of a classic story one day!

Growing up, my parents were deeply rooted in the science and philosophy of yoga and meditation which I observed at a distance.  It wasn’t until my own children came along, about 20 years ago, that I began to explore these practices myself. As my life evolved, I immersed myself in four years of teacher training and yoga therapy, expanding my understanding of energy healing through Reiki training. I continue to study various forms of yoga and meditation, with the goal of sharing my knowledge.

Just as with everyone I meet, my life as has not been smooth sailing, and I am grateful for the grounding presence of yoga and meditation. Mahatma Gandhi once said “Be the change you want to see in the world” and so I strive to live by the principles I teach by maintaining a daily morning yoga and meditation practice. Today, my practice inspires me with a gentle stream of contentedness and ease… things seem to flow more naturally, even during difficult times.

My passion for yoga continues to grow; and the more I do, the more I want to share its transformative powers with everyone because it has been a life changing experience. My ambition is to help everyone I encounter, to find healing and growth, inner peace, a sense of balance & the joy of life in harmony with the natural laws of energy.  My style is spiritual, intuitive, creative & supportive.

If each of us have peace, balance and joy, then the world will have that too!
